Job Description : The Change Management team is looking for motivated individual for Member Technical Staff position. This position requires designing and developing systems for capacity management of Oracle Applications (EBSO,PeopleSoft). This position also requires working with global teams for providing Capacity Management solution.
Desired Profile : As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes.
Preferred Qualifications : BTech / BE / ME / MTech degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
Preferred Requirements :
1. The candidate should be technologically savvy and keen to learn new Technologies/Products and Skills.
2. The candidate should have excellent analytical skills and an ability to appreciate core customer issues
3. Good communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate status to peers and management is a must-have.
4. Ability to work effectively in a Global Development Environment, following processes that involve interaction, shared-ownership, and responsibility hand-offs with remote teams
Preferred Technical Skills - 2+ years of experience in a software engineering role for a commercial software provider with:
* Core Java, good understanding of J2EE concepts, XML, Web services or
* Knowledge of Unix Operating System - Concepts, Scripting (e.g. Shell programming or Perl) or
* Database Concepts, SQL/PL-SQL programming
Experience : 6 - 9 Years
Education : UG - B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization PG - Post Graduation Not Required
