Recruitment for non teaching posts in Central University of Kashmir(CUK) 2011, Last Date: 08.03.2011

Applications on the prescribed form are invited from the eligible candidates for appointment to the following Non-Teaching positions:

Finance Officer: 01 post
Qualification:

• Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven-point scale.
• At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.7,000 and above or with at least 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs.8,000 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration OR
• At least 15 years of experience as Lecturer(Senior Scale)/Lecturer with 8 years in Reader’s grade along with experience in Higher Educational Administration OR
• Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of highereducation OR
• 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

Internal Audit Officer(Deputation Basis): 01 post
Qualification: Appointment shall be by deputation. Employees working in organized Audit & Accounts Service(viz. IA&AS, IRAS, ICAS, IDAS etc.) can apply through proper channel. Selection will be made on the basis of nomination/panel received, quality of ACRs and interview.

Assistant Registrar: 01 post
Qualification: Good academic record having Master’s Degree with at least 55% Marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven-point scale from a recognized University.

Public Relations Officer: 01 post
Qualification:

• Master’s Degree in Public Relations/Communication and Journalism with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent from any recognized Indian University or corresponding degree from a foreign University. OR
• Master’s degree in any discipline with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent and P.G. Diploma in Public Relations/Communication and Journalism.
• Five years of experience in the editorial Department/Centre of any established newspaper, National News Agency, Radio or Television or Film media.

Hindi Adhikari: 01 post
Qualification:

• Master’s Degree in Hindi with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent from any recognized University with English as a subject at the degree level.
• Atleast five years’ experience in translation work from English to Hindi or vice-versa preferably of technical or scientific literature. OR
• Five years’ experience of teaching/research/writing or journalism in Hindi

Security Officer: 01 post
Qualification:

• Graduate or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
• Ten years experience in Police/Para-Military Forces/Armed Forces with exemplary service.
• Holding a Valid Driving License to ride Jeep/Motor Cycle.

Private Secretary: 02 posts
Qualification:

• Graduation in any discipline with at least 50% Marks from a recognized University.
• Two year’s experience of Stenography with typing speed of 40 wpm.
• Knowledge of computers.
• Good communication skills along with comprehension of drafting.

Assistant: 02 posts
Qualification:

• Graduate in any discipline with at least 50% Marks from a recognized University.
• Two year’s experience of having worked in any organization.
• Working Knowledge of Computers.
• Good communication skills.

Hindi Anuvadak: 01 post
Qualification:

• Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as one of the subjects at degree level. OR
• Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as medium of instruction at the degree level.
• Recognized Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English or vice versa OR
• Two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central/State Government offices/Autonomous bodies.

Upper Division Clerk: 02 posts
Qualification:

• Graduate with at least 50% Marks from a recognized University.
• Two year’s experience as Junior Assistant/LDC in a University/Govt Institution.

Laboratory Assistant: 01 post
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Science with at least 50% marks from a recognized University/Institution.

Lower Division Clerk: 02 posts
Qualification:

• Graduate in any discipline with at least 50% Marks from a recognized University
• Proficiency in typing/computer applications.

Hindi Typist: 01 post
Qualification:

• Pass in 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board or University
• Candidates should have proficiency in Hindi typewriting with a minimum speed of 25 words per minute.
• Working knowledge of computer applications.

Driver: 01 post
Qualification:

• Pass in 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board or University
• Candidates should have proficiency in Hindi typewriting with a minimum speed of 25 words per minute.
• Working knowledge of computer applications.

Office Attendant: 04 posts
Qualification: Matriculation from a recognized Board of School Education

Application Fee: DD of Rs.300/-(Rs.150/- in case of SC, ST & PWD) in favour of Central University of Kashmir, payable at Srinagar (J&K).
