Job Description:
1. Strives to learn the business function related to the requested development item
2. Participate in design/artefacts walkthroughs
3. Actively raise questions to gain understanding of the requested code changes.
4. Understand the required documentation and complete in accordance with BPT Standards
5. Ensure all code is appropriately structured and easy to understand and written with appropriate comments
6. Ensure all Unit Tests and expected results are clearly defined, fully documented, and easily reviewable by peers.
7. Ensure all modifications are thoroughly addressed in the Unit Testing
8. Provide support through SDLC
9. Actively communicate any changes occurring between the Design and Development
10. Actively communicate status of change to Tech and Team Lead throughout the SDLC
11. Develops and maintains good working relationships within the team as well as across other practices
Desired Candidate Profile:
Essential Experience Profile:
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or relevant work experience.
Experience in Information Technology, typically focused on software application development.
Desired Experience Profile:
Ability to develop, tests, and debugs modules of system software ensuring all BPT standards are met.Ability to work independently, to seek answers through research and strive for self-improvement through active completion of self-training modules.
