Experience:
l1 - 6 years experience

Responsibility:
lCoding, development, documentation and testing of applications in a team environment.
lDevelop and maintain software to meet identified functional requirements
lGrasping the functional requirements and understanding the detailed application design.
lCreate detailed design document based on application requirements
lImplement Client components/features based on approved design
lHandle software enhancements and bug fixes
lAdhering to agreed time frames
lWrite unit test code, using tools and writing test cases.
lTake-up complete ownership of the work assigned in terms of quality and timeliness

Technical & Operational Skills:
lExcellent programming capabilities
lGood knowledge of Object Oriented concepts.
lGood knowledge of Perl, Apache Server, , HTML, Javascript, AJAX, WAP, XML,XSLT, SOAP, RDBMS (preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL),Template toolkit, CSS,DOM
lExposure to Linux/Unix.
lKnowledge of Internet Protocols
lProfessional Certification & exposure to ISO environment, CMM Level processes will be an added advantage.

Skills/ competencies:
lGood written & verbal communication skills
lSelf-motivated and proactive
lAbility to work cross-functionally.
lUnderstanding of SDLC, Testing process, testing methodologies and testing life cycle.
