Job Description :
- Handling customer issues reported from field
- Attending and responding to customer queries within specified time lines
- Be a part of the 24 X 7 support team to provide support to global customers
- Provide real-time support to customer for critical issues
- Install, test and validate customer configurations
- Validate patches provided as solutions to emergency customer problems
Desired Candidate Profile :
2 - 4 years in software development, quality assurance and/or technical support.
- Exposure to telecommunications domains, Call processing, Class-5 features
- Strong UNIX/Solaris skills
- Strong analytical, debugging and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Fair knowledge of SQL, RDBMS and LDAP databases
- Experience in VoIP protocols like SIP, MGCP is a plus
- Exposure to "application softswitch" is a plus
- Experience in software development for "application softswitch" is a plus.
