Job Description :
Work closely with architects and machine learning domain experts to design and develop a flexible, scalable and efficient software framework that runs the core machine learning algorithms
Work closely with other developers and ensure seamless integration with other modules
Provide technical guidance and mentoring for junior members of the team
Provide high quality Design and Code review of other team members
Initiate, evangelize and execute a process-driven development methodology
Work closely with QA engineers and ensure high quality of software modules built

Candidates from a product development background, having gone through couple of software lifecycles. They have to be hands on in coding and have a strong background in data structures and algorithms. They should be excellent team player and possess good technical leadership skills and flair for mentoring the team.
Education and Experience
BTech/BS/BE in Computer Science, MS/PhD is a big plus
6yrs or more, hands on product development experience
Skills
Hands on experience with C/C++ in Linux/UNIX environments
Strong background in data structures and algorithms
Strong design skills (OOPS, design patterns, template programming)
Strong systems programming skills (multi-threading, IPC)
Ability to resolve complex issues that may require design trade-offs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Prior experience in developing/designing large software systems is a big plus
Experience with distributed computing (clusters, distributed systems) is a big plus
Understanding and interest in machine learning algorithms is a plus
Experience working with Math libraries (OpenCV, LAPACK, and BLAST) is a plus
