Experience: Candidates with 4+ years of experience in product development in high-tech industry and strong hands-on experience in Java, J2EE and web technologies.
Desired Candidate Profile
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for leading a team of software engineers in the design, architecture and implementation of a web-based document management product.
Responsibilities :
1.Work closely with Business team. Translate functional specifications and high level architecture to module level design that meets both functional and technical requirements.
2.Design system architecture and code for all projects, point releases and enhancement release within the approved project schedule
3.Be a technical evangelist: mentor team members; enforce Java and XML coding standards and best practices; ensure review of all technical deliverables; train team members on latest programming techniques and patterns; ensure adequate code coverage for unit test cases;
4.Create and maintain technical documentation for product releases
5.Ensure accurate estimation and timely delivery of all technical deliverables for the projects; Work closely with the development team, and the business team to ensure adequate coordination in meeting all deadlines.
6.Ensure all components are stored in the Configuration Management Tool
7.Ensure compliance with corporate software development life cycle standards and processes.
Essential Requirements:
1.Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering
2.4+ years J2EE and advanced Java coding and object-oriented design experience
3.4+ years experience with web technologies: JSF, JSP, Servlets, Struts, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, XSLT
4.2+ years experience with Web Services and XML technologies, SOAP/XML, BPEL, SOA
5.Experience with following Oracle technologies a big plus: Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), JDeveloper, Oracle Application Server 10g, Oracle BPEL Process Manager, Oracle Content Database, Oracle Portal, Oracle Internet Directory
6.Experience with full software development life cycle
7.Experience with use cases and iterative development methodology
8.Experience with RDBMS, preferentially Oracle
9.Experience in Linux operating system environment
10.Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills
11.Strong oral and written communication skills.
12.Strong business awareness
Desired Requirements: (Nice to have)
Familiar with Oracle technologies like Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle ADF, Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle Content Database, Oracle Secure Enterprise Search, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Portal, BPEL, SQL & PL/SQL would be an added advantage
