Job Description :
1) develop the overall technical architecture for the platform
2) evaluate different technology frameworks and components and identify the right ones that fit our requirements & strategy
3) develop the initial versions of the platform themselves
4) provide usability inputs / bring in the right talent to help with this
5) build & mentor a team of junior developers for further build-out of the platform.

Desired Candidate Profile :
As a lead developer you will be required to:
1) play a hands-on role in developing the initial versions of the application
2) build & mentor a team of junior developers for further build-out of the platform.
3) develop the overall technical architecture for the platform
4) evaluate different technology frameworks and components and identify the right ones that fit our requirements & strategy
5) provide usability inputs and bring in the right visual design talent to help with this

In addition to Ruby on Rails, the right candidate will have expert knowledge of relational databases, message-based integration, web services, XML, and other web app foundational technologies. The ideal candidate will have 3 years experience developing web applications using Ruby on Rails. Experience with building on-demand applications and cloud deployment will be big pluses. And, most importantly, the candidate should have a lot of energy, drive, and passion for building market-changing solutions.
