Job Description :
1) Responsible for Server Administration, Troubleshooting and resolving all hardware issues including servers (Windows 2003, Linux Enterprise server for Proxy & E-mails), desktops, Windows XP, laptops, printer & network equipments.
2) Fully responsible for the smooth functioning of all the Servers and other hardware hosted by the Group at various branches / location.
3) Installs, tests, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software.
4) Implements and Monitors Servers PC standards and procedures in line with the Company Policies.
5) Facilitates backup and recovery procedures according to the Backup policies.
6) Provides technical guidance and monitors problem/change activities to ensure effective resolution of end user problems.
7) Provide technical support, troubleshooting and resolving operational infrastructure Issues.
Cool Managing 2nd line support on all ISA Proxy Servers across all locations in the enterprise.
9) Managing 2nd line support on all AD/ DNS/ DHCP servers across all locations in the enterprise.
10) Managing Backup 2nd line support on all Windows, Linux and Unix Servers and create their DR recovery policy in shortest time.
11) Performance Tuning of all Unix / Linux Servers in the enterprise along with Kernel Upgrades.
12) Setting –up & Operation of Remote management tools and remote monitoring of all network elements – Servers, laptops, desktops and other critical network elements.
13) VPN Configuration and Operations for roaming users.
14) User and security administration including Share and NTFS Security.
15) DFS Administration and Troubleshooting and managing Corporate File systems manager.
16) IBM DS 4700 SAN administration and managing space allocation in SAN Storages.
17) Hardware Managing of IBM X series and Blade servers.

Desired Candidate Profile :
1. Education: Any Graduate/ BE /B.Sc /B Tech in Computer Science/ EE / Electronics / Telecommunication with Systems and Networking certification like, MCSE, .RHCE , Sun Solaris is preferable.
2. Experience: 8 - 12 years of Server Administration experience in Windows and Linux system, Sound knowledge in Active Directory, Disaster Recovery Solutions and Back Up. Unix Exposure is desirable.
3. Location: Mumbai
4. Salary and Package – Not a constraint for genuine and talented candidate.
5. Travel – 20 % foreign travel opportunity.
6. Designation – not an issue as per talent.
7. Skills Required:
Thorough knowledge of all Windows operating systems including Windows 2003 Server / Windows 2000 Server , Win 2000 Professional, Win XP, Windows Vista and Linux Enterprise Server. Troubleshooting skills on Active Directory, Disaster Recovery Solutions for AD and Policy Enforcing on OU level, Domain and Site level. Handling / Installing Microsoft Small Business Server and all its components including : Installation, configuration and trouble shooting of Lotus Notes Server and Client.
Basic knowledge of SQL server, Access Database
, Visual Basic.
Installation and trouble-shooting of Office Automation packages like, MS Office, Anti-Virus solutions etc.
Knowledge of Linux, POP3 mailing solutions (VPOP3)with Domino / Lotus Notes Mailing Application.
Hardware of IBM X series, Blade Servers
IBM SAN Storages DS 4700 and Fibre Channels.
Knowledge of Dell and HP servers
Thorough hands on MS Patch management, Service pack deployment and automatic updates.
Thorough hands on Anti-virus managing across all globe using centralized updates by Anti-virus server.
Thorough hands on SMS server for enterprise deployment in patch managing and asset managing.
Hands on AD and Policy deployment.
