Job Description :
Design, Modify, Create SQL Stored Procedures in T-SQL.
Desired Candidate Profile :
Minimum of 4 years experience after graduation.
Expertise in SQL Programming, MS SQL Server 2000, MS SQL Server 2005.
Design and implement queries, procedures and views.
Capable of quickly understanding exiting Database objects (Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, etc ) and creating new. Strong knowledge on performance tuning with SQL queries.
This position is responsible for the development of enterprise application
solutions along with the maintenance of previously implemented solutions.
Current responsibilities include extensive hands-on coding in a MS SQL
Server 2005 environment, management and design of business logic within a
T-SQL framework, moderate database design work.
This position will require a thorough knowledge of database concepts and SQL
coding, including database structure design, creation of tables and views,
management of table relationships and data integrity, complex queries and
stored procedures, data update processes, and numerous other advanced
database programming concepts. A strong hands on experience is necessary.
Proven experience is required in designing and building SQL database systems
in a MS SQL Server 2000/2005 environment including all concepts listed
above. Experience with reporting engines is a plus. Experience working
directly with business users to gain an understanding of business processes
and scoping business requirements is a plus. A knowledge of T/SQL would also
be preferable. A good understanding of SQL Server understanding is needed.
The candidates should have worked in atleast 2 mid to large size projects
and 3-4 medium size projects in RDBMS in a hands on role.
Other important attributes for this position are strong data management and
validation skills and other analytical skills. The candidate should be
highly motivated, work independently, produce a thorough and precise work
product, and be able to deliver on commitments.
Qualifications :
The candidate should have a Bachelor's or higher degree, preferably with a
major in Engineering or Information Technology, or equivalent (MCA) .
