Designation : Performance Test Engineer

Experience : 2 - 5 Years
Education : UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization, PG - Any PG Course - Any Specialization
Location : Mumbai

Job Description :
1. Understand Performance Testing requirements and map performance indicators against it.
2. Analyze, develop and execute performance test scripts by writing reusable code.
3. Demonstrate ability to run and analyze Performance Testing Reports with any tool.
4. Understand performance measurement parameters and identifying bottlenecks and issues affecting performance.
5. Ensure adequate and comprehensive Performance Test Process Performance Planning, capture of Performance Test Metrics and Analysis, Performance Test case preparation and review, Performance Test data preparation and review, Performance Test case execution.

Desired Profile :
1. At least 2 plus years experience of working as a Performance Test professional with exposure to tools like OpenSTA, LoadRunner, like.
2. Performance Testing experience of either or all of eCommerce websites, ERP suites, packaged software, & application developed with latest technologies and protocols -- java, .Net, web services, client-server, messaging, like)
3. Hands-on experience with Microsoft / Compuware / Mercury Performance Testing Tools.
4. Must have strong scripting Skills in VB/Java/Ruby.
5. Strong understanding and experience with software/hardware components within enterprise architectures (switches, routers, load balancers, web (IIS & Apache & SOA (SOAP/XML)) servers, database servers).
6. Understands LAN/WAN environments, protocols (TCPIP, HTTP, etc.).
7. Knowledge of O/S (Win UNIX, Linux)
8. Practical experience of formal manual testing methods and testing techniques
9. Creative and sharp with attention to detail and meticulous documentation skills of testing and results.
10. Fluent in English speaking and excellent communication skills.
11. Clear understanding of software development lifecycle and testing's role within it.
12. Team Player with a systematic approach to problem solving and workload management.
