Desired Candidate Profile
Skill:
1. Experience of ahands onâ software testing of several complex software project deliveries, within a financial environment. Experience should cover identification and formal recording of system testing requirements from project technical design documentation, creation of formal test scripts that cross-check to ensure full coverage of the testing requirements, test execution and formal recoding of execution progress and quality statistics for the project.
2. Knowledge of all aspects of software testing and the disciplines necessary for it to be successful.
3. Experience of tracking and controlling work to budgets.
4. Experience of work estimation in a structured manner, in a commercial ethos.
5. Use of test management tools such as Test Director, building a repository of test scripts.
6. Experience of working to challenging deadlines and budgets on a continual basis, tracking and developing procedures to manage to these.
Proven ability in the following :
o Navigation around the AS/400 including review of file contents.
o Navigation around UNIX and Windows servers including review of file contents.
o SQL.
1. Experience with multiple concurrent application versions would be an advantage.
2. Ability to guide and coordinate team members and to lead and provide oversight to more junior members of the team.
Business Domain related
3. Exposure to the Finance industry is essential.
4. Strong interest and willingness to understand the Mutual Funds Business.
5. Understanding of the software development lifecycle and the role that testing plays.
6. Business/systems experience in multi-currency, multi-country environment applications.
