SQL Server DBA / Administrator - Tier2 / Tier 3 :
Log Shipping concept and overview of its architecture and monitoring
Database backup and restore / types of backups and options
DB Monitor / Cubes Processing monitoring
OLAP / OLAP Errors (Incident Management)
User and roles creations/ assignments
Database performance tuning
What is a page / extent / indexes / types of indexes
Types of Locks and Lock escalations
SQL Server Authentication and DB Security Roles
Normalization rules
Database replication types / models
SQL Profiler Usages
Determining Query Execution plan
SQL Server installations and settings, new feature of SQL Server 2005
Clustering services and types of Clusterings

IIS 6.0 Administration :

Concepts of IIS 6.0 (Web sites setting, V-roots, application pool concept)
IIS installation and configuration and administration (in general), configuration backup and restore
IIS error codes (400, 500, etc), trouble shooting (using IIS logs / log parsing, Event Viewer, etc)
Security configuration (restricting access, enabling access)
Concepts of Clustering
Windows NLB (Network Load Balancing)
Certificate installation & configuration (for HTTPS)
MIME types Settings

Windows System Administration:
Application Patch Management (production and pre-production environment)
Windows Server 2000 / 2003 administration
Understanding of Active directory design, configuration, implementation and management
Diagnosing server and desktop issues
Antivirus management
Desktop firewall management
Group policy design, configuration and management
DNS, DHCP, WINS, print server design and configuration
Backup configuration and restoration
Server Hardening
Asset tracking
Automation of task using Windows scripting (if possible)
OS Upgrades
Concepts of Clustering and Cluster Management

MOM Administration and MP Development:
Designing, implementation and maintenance of MOM server
Deploying MOM agents
Monitoring servers using agents
Monitoring agentless server
Database Backup
Generating reports
Tracking MOM server usage
Creation of custom Management Pack (MP) will be an added advantage
Knowledge of MOM Scripting
Hands-on experience SCOM

Full Time Graduates / Post Graduates in:
BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MSc / MCA / MCM / MS
CA / ICWA / MBA
PGDIT (2 years full time & approved by AICTE)

Special consideration will be given to B.Sc. / BCA / Diploma holders with 3 years of relevant functional / technical experience.

Consistent academic records Class X onwards (Minimum 50%)
Candidates interviewed by us in the last 6 months are not eligible
Candidates with more than 2 years break in their academic / professional career will not be considered
