Job Description : Software Quality Engineer
CMA group at EMC is looking to add a Software QA Engineer to its Platform QA team.
We promote a dynamic and innovative environment and have a strong customer base of 20000+ and growing. This is a great opportunity for a problem solver who is passionate about Testing and working with state of the art technology in the fast growing content management software marketplace.

Software Quality Engineer would be responsible for:

Qualifying major and minor software releases.
Reviewing requirements and designs for new features and software releases.
Test spec review, Developing new test cases, Execution of Test cases and Defect Tracking.
Working closely with developers/Functional QA team to reproduce and troubleshoot software defects.
Verifying problem resolutions and maintaining test procedures.

Requirements:

Candidates must have good communications skills and an ability to work well in a co-located team environment.

2 to 4 years of testing experience, BS Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong Programming experience in Java.
More than one year experience in API testing and in Test automation using JUnit or similar framework.
Proficiency with multiple operating systems including Windows and UNIX flavors such as Linux, Solaris, AIX etc.,
QA Process knowledge.
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Good team player.

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of RDBMS
Desired Profile : Strong Programming experience in Java;API testing and in Test automation using JUnit;operating systems including Windows and UNIX flavors such as Linux, Solaris, AIX etc.,
