Job Description:
Create, modify and review stored procedures, and SQL Scripts, database functions, and triggers
-Take ownership of identification and implementation of performance and maintenance improvements for the current database design and application interactions.
-Constantly seeking ways to re-factor code by tuning and optimizing queries
-Work with Programmer Analysts and Business Analysts to gather requirements and implement changes to the databases as required
-Work with QA team to help create test cases
-Create new strategies and processes to help with the deployment and maintenance of databases
-Expert knowledge and extensive experience with building, administering, and maintaining Microsoft SQL, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, and SQL Server internals
-Hands-on database tuning and troubleshooting experience
-Technically fluent in database programming languages, including SQL and PL/SQL

Desired Candidate Profile:
-Strong academic background in Engineering or related field
-Aptitude to learn and work on large scale solutions
-Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
Min 2 -5 Years exp.
