Good understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP,)
And
Strong knowledge in any of the following skill set

1. Windows/ Linux/ Citrix (ADS, DNS, DHCP)

Enterprise Technology Application Support Division (ETAS) and Customer Technology Application Support Division (CTAS). It provides technology support services to global clients, round the clock.

You must have the efficiency to interface with international customers,provide remote Technical support on implementation of technology using various networking products & applications and resolve product related issues through research and troubleshooting. The following are essential:

1.Should have experience in configuration and troubleshooting high-end networks
2.The ideal candidate will be an Engineer, who is a self-starter, withexcellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, problem solving andtrouble-shooting skills.
3.Quality focus, result & goal orientation in a group situation, and commitment to customer delight are a must.
4.Sound fundamentals and in-depth knowledge of Networking Concepts
5. Should relocate to Chennai & work on 24/7 environment.

Designation : Network Engineer/ Network Specialists – Security (ETAS Division)
• Good understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP).
• IP addressing and sub netting, Routing concepts, VLSM/CIDR.
• LAN technologies such as Ethernet, Token Ring, FDDI.
• Bridging and switching concepts.
• STP - IEEE 802.1d/ IEEE 802.1w, IEEE 802.1s
• VLANS, Tagging - IEEE 802.1q, 802.3ad.
• GVRP ,VRRP
• In-depth knowledge in routing protocols – RIP V1/V2, OSPF
• Strong working knowledge in both Unix/Linux and Windows
• Working knowledge of security technologies (firewall, VPN, Intrusion Detection, SSL)
• Strong knowledge and troubleshooting skills on common enterprise server/client technologies such as Microsoft 2003 Server, Active Directory, File Server, Citrix, RSA ACE Server, LDAP, Microsoft Exchange Server, Lotus Domino Server, Samba and Sygate Firewall.
• Desktop technologies (Microsoft Windows, Linux & Macintosh)
• Strong protocol level understanding of Web technologies (HTML, TCP/IP, SSL, Java, JavaScript).
• Strong knowledge of internetworking/LAN protocols (Routing, OSPF, BGP, RIP, SSL, switching) is a plus. Basic knowledge is required.
• Ability to create/edit scripts (Perl, TCL) for the purpose of troubleshooting is a plus.
• Programming skills in C, C++, Java and JavaScript is a strong plus

Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, CWNP, CISSP, and CCSA will be of added value.
