Job Description :
A qualified candidate will have 5+ years experience in the design, development and support of .NET 3.5/database applications hosted in a Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 environment. Relevant experience includes hands-on involvement with application and database design, coding of complex business logic using Visual Studio 2008 with Enterprise Library and LINQ, user defined functions and database triggers, database performance tuning and database application optimization. Past projects completed by a qualified candidate must exhibit a high level of creativity and problem-solving. This position will primarily implement new functionality and enhancements according to business requirements.
We are looking for an experienced and skilled .NET 3.5 Framework with SQL Server 2005/2008 SQL Developer with strong T-SQL , SSIS and SSRS skills.
This position will be 20% SQL Server Database Development and 80% .NET Development.
Desired Candidate Profile :
* Ensure that production systems are always available, troubleshooting production problems and fixing defects as prioritized by management
* Maintain and enhance existing product capabilities
* Provide after hours support for applications and databases as required
* Write stored procedures and user defined functions to implement complex business logic
* Work under the direction of project and technical leads to implement solutions to support complex business requirements
* Perform database tuning and optimization to ensure optimal system performance
* Write detailed technical specifications and as-built documents
* Adhere to Microsoft application development best practices and standards within the Agile Methodologies
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
* 5+ years database design and development experience
* Visual Studio 2008 with Team Foundation Server
* SQL 2005/SQL 2008 Reporting Services, Report Designer and Model building REQUIRED
* DTS, Integration Services REQUIRED
* Experience with .NET C# REQUIRED
* Experience with SSIS for ETL Processing
* Experience with Transact-SQL to write custom stored procedures, functions and queries, in order implement complex business logic
* SQL Server CLR a plus
