The job responsibility mainly involves:
Understand requirement specification & functional specifications
Develop functional tests and test scenarios for new feature/enhancements, Execute tests and report results
Participate in test automation using frameworks
Possess knowledge of defect tracking and management tools
Work closely with development, documentation & other QA teams
Complete ownership of test projects; includes insuring quality completion of multiple tasks within a rapidly changing environment
Carryout performance testing, code coverage, stress testing etc
Provide feedbacks and suggestions to improve test strategies, test coverage
Performs all tasks with a nominal amount of supervision
Desired Candidate Profile :
Must have wide and in-depth understanding of SAP Testing activities on different phases of a project cycle (Build, Deployment, Support,..) as well as Testing tools / modules (HP Mercury, SAP TAO, SAP TDMS, FICO , MM, HR Solution Manager,.)
Strong experience in Design and implement Test scripts, Test cases & Test data.
Depth knowledge on Software development lifecycle, testing lifecycle and test processes
Excellent Knowledge and Hands on experience : Functional, Integration / System Testing, Failover Testing, Performance Testing and Load Testing
Hands-on experience in Database testing – (Exposure to Oracle / SQL
/ PL SQL , Should be able develop / verifying the scripts)
Good at test automation / design & implement the framework
Good knowledge on tools like SILK Test, QTP, Win Runner, Selenium, Sahi.
Good exposure towards usage of defect tracking tools BugZilla, ClearQuest, Jira etc..
Good track record in testing products under Windows / Unix / Linux environment
Must have strong troubleshooting skills in identifying & isolating the problems
Desirable :
Good written and oral communication skills
Responsible for test automation framework for SAP
Must have minimum of 3 – 6 years of experience in SAP testing
Must have very good knowledge of SAP functional (processes, available functionalities..) and technical background (customizing, environment, transport orders, ), different stages of projects (run, deployments, testing, …) as well as project management skills (planning follow-up, team work, multiple teams interaction,
