Job Description :
Manipal Press Limited requires Software Programmer
Writing the Software Code to the Assigned Projects, Implementing, Generating Reports, Debugging existing Code.
* Data Conversion, Data Handling, Maintenance of Data and Software Code.
* Assisting the Production personnel to get the desired Customer Output by adopting suitable technology in the software.
* Writing the Code to Transform/Migrate data from one platform to required platform.
Sound knowledge of
Front End : VB (Advanced)/VB.Net/ASP/ASP.Net
Back End : MS SQL/Oracle
Report Tool : Crystal Reports/Data Report/Active Report/Vsflex Report
MS OFFICE products like Word/Excel/Visio/Projects
Responsible for Writing the Software Code to the Assigned Projects, Implementing, Generating Reports, Debugging existing Code and assisting the Production personnel to get the desired Customer Output by adopting suitable technology in the software.
1. Writing the Software Code to the Assigned Projects, Implementing, Generating Reports, and Debugging existing Code.
2. Writing the Code to Transform/Migrate data from one platform to required platform.
3. Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications
to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.
4. Consult with System Admin/Senior Programmers to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.
5. Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer
capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic.
6. Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
7. Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users.
8. Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language.
9. Consult with and assist computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs.
10. Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, -ing comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program.
11. Correct errors by making appropriate changes and then rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced.
12. Data Conversion, Data Handling, Maintenance of Data and Software Code.
13. Assisting the Production personnel to get the desired Customer Output by adopting suitable technology in the software.
14. Follow up of 5S & ISO procedures
15. Handling any additional responsibilities as and when given
