Job Description:
-Understand testing requirements, platforms and test environment for each project and generate test cases, test plans and test environments through interactions with the internal teams.
-Enhance the efficiency of Systems Testing (ST) cycle with respect to the number of defects raised in ST environment to cut down on the number of defects in production
-Define and implement testing methodologies and processes under the supervision of AVP -QA & Testing.
-Execute test suites using various testing techniques & automation tools
-Identify test cases which could potentially detect/ critical/ flaws in system behaviors
-Work with Product Management on features based on testing
-Evaluate software requirements and work closely with developers to define test plans and test procedures to thoroughly test the application/product
-Setup and configure test environments
-Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases and test suites (build acceptance, functional, integration, stress, load, performance, etc.)
-Execute component, and feature-level testing
-Generate and write clear and concise defect reports, and validate bug fixes
-Maintain comprehensive records on the tests conducted across products / services /platforms and the defects identified.
-Monitor, track and regularly report test status and bug statistics to the project team
Desired Candidate Profile:
-Candidate should have B.E / B.Tech / MCA
-Minimum 1 year of testing experience, preferably from Telecom VAS or products domain
-Knowledge of VAS and Telecom domains
-Knowledge of device and network platforms
-Exposure to Content management systems and Payment gateways will be an added advantage
