Job description:
Participation in development of high-end software for the automotive industry
Development of graphical user interfaces
Development of pre- and postprocessing methods
Documentation, test, and validation of software components
Maintenance and enhancement of existing software components
Essential qualifications:
Degree in Information technology, Computer science, or Computer engineering
Excellent knowledge of C++
Solid OOA / OOD and UML skills
Hands-on experience in Qt GUI framework
Basic knowledge of scientific computing and numerical algorithms
Working knowledge of MS Visual Studio
Excellent command of English language, both oral and written
Desired Candidate Profile
Desirable, but not required qualifications:
Experience in CAE, especially FE methods
Experience in CAD systems
Knowledge of sheet metal forming
Candidates should be:
Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Have 1 to 5 years relevant work experience
Result-oriented approach and ability to meet deadlines
Have capability to work independently with minimal direction
Have ability to work in international teams
Have strong enthusiasm for solving technical problems
Having a valid Passport and ready to travel to Switzerland /Germany soon on joining and later whenever required.
Ready to join earliest and in any case within end October 2008
