Job Description : Looking at SAP Basis Professionals with 4 +yrs of Relevant Exp, with Team handling skills.
Primary or Mandatory Skills:
âSAP Basis
âNetweaver 2004
âSAP R3, SCM (APO) and BW on Unix / Oracle/ MaxDB platform
âSAP Basis Expert in support of SAP ECC6, SCM 4.1, LiveCache, BW 3.5 and Solution Manager 4.0 on Solaris Unix, Oracle 10g platform.
âExperience of working in delivery and service role and delivering OpEx metrics on system performance and availability is essential.
Secondary or Optional Skills:
âSAP Basis Administration Certification.
âOracle patching and upgrade experience desirable.
âUnix scripting skills desirable.
âFamiliar with Windows Architecture and SAPROUTER.
âSkilled in use of OSS / Sap Service Marketplace.
âSupport of SAP in Unix Clustered Environment (Veritas High-Available Cluster solutions for SAP)
âSupport BRBACKUP with Veritas Netbackup.
âExcellent English skills oral/writing
Detail Job Description:
Support the SAP Basis environment on daily operational issues and develop and report OpEx metrics for the system support service.
âSAP Basis support including general Basis Administration, Change Management with On Call Support Capability.
âSAP Basis Administration, in coordination with the Unix system administration team and the Storage administration team
âSystem and Performance Monitoring, Trend Analysis, SAP Authorisations, Transport Management, Homogenous System Copy (ECC6, SCM, LiveCache, BW), Support Pack Installation, Client Copy, Solution Manager Configuration.
âResponsible to liaise with SAP Basis Manager to develop Operational Excellence (OpEx) metrics for SAP Basis environment
Remarks: Candidate should possess extensive technical skills, capability to respond to critical situations, teamwork, problem identification and resolution, and skill in working with support teams as well as the business and technical community are essential requirements.
Willing to Travel.
