Position requirements:
1.Proactive involvement in managing/fixing production incidents.
2.Release/change management activities for production deployments.
3.Participation in on-call challenges.
4.Continuous strive to innovate new processes that ensure operational excellence.
Must have:
1.UNIX/Linux expertise at systems level.
2.Well versed in scripting perl/shell.
3.Solid knowledge of Apache and networking technologies.
4.Excellent troubleshooting skills.
5.Good understanding of distributed system environment.
Other prerequisites:
1.Need to be a good team player and be able to align with the business and team goals.
2.Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desired skills:
1.MySQL/Oracle DBA skillset.
2.Working knowledge of Business Continuity Planing (BCP),High Availability (HA) and Capacity Planing Strategies.
3.Performance tuning (UNIX,Networking,Web).
4.Ability to write CGI/UI based programs.
Exp: 2 - 10 years
