Job Description
Shipco Transport , a leading international cargo transportation company, has an immediate opening at our Mumbai office for an application developer .
You will be a core developer and be a part of building the next generation of systems for the shipping industry. You will work together with other development teams in various parts of the world, where it is important that you are an avid communicator and feel at home with the English language.
At the same time, you have a passion for new technologies and developing good applications.
Requirements:
* Good knowledge of C,C++
* Development experience with PHP, PERL
* Good working knowledge of SQL
* Good organizational & interpersonal skills and a good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are the norm.
* Atleast a bachelors degree or Masters degree
Desired Skills/Education:
* Working knowledge with Object Oriented Technologies
*
* Linux (or other nix) experience.
* Experience with CVS
